Stop! Leave well enough alone. I found this site only because I was thinking fondly of the "Oval." A major
aesthetic influence on me as I was growing up in Parkchester,1941-1954.
KEEP HISTORY. Parkchester looks exactly the same, but for signage, as it did in my childhood. (I'm 73.) The only notable change is that all the posts that support the chains around the lawns are crooked.
They were once very vertical.

Nice idea. Would work. Not enough space. But why not an out door movie theater, where water is used as a movie screen in the summer. I'm not kidding either, Disney does it in one of their shows.
