Those Parkchester, Bronx, New York City residents who live on a high floor and facing Manhattan now see a brand new New York skyline featuring the tallest building in the United States, 1 World Trade Center.

The new Manhattan building is now the tallest building in the United States surpassing the Sears Tower in Chicago, Illinois.

The final stages of construction are being conducted including installion of the spire which will sit atop 1 World Trade Center making it the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.
