It looks like Parkchester's new tactic is to charge the applicant even before applying for an apartment.

They've set up a site at https://parkchester.prospectportal.com/Apartments/module/applicant_authentication/property%5Bid%5D/31389/show_in_popup/false/kill_session/1/ and are asking for a $25 fee even before applying.

At least they're giving you a taste of their unfair practices even before you actually start renting. Way to go Parkchester.

In addition, I want to personally apologize to those of you who applied to rent an apartment in Parkchester at https://www.parkchesterinfo.com/rent-parkchester-apartments/?q=apartments+for+rent and didn't get a call back from the people over at Parkchester Preservation Management.

I suggest calling them directly at 718-319-8043 and let them know you want an apartment now. If they don't meet your demands and are unwilling to work with you, speak your mind. Make a post here on "Parkchester Sucks" https://www.parkchesterinfo.com/parkchester-sucks/
