Yes section 8 tenants reside in parkchester I am a section 8 tenant but I rented through a private owner who only accepts Section 8 working i.e., you must have a job. Try calling Parkchester rental office and ask what are their qualifications .

There is no Section 8 in New York for new public assistance recipients. To my understanding, public assistance recipients can still receive the "one shot deal" to help with rent deposits, such as, first and last month's rent and moving expenses. If you rent directly from a Parkchester condominium owner they may accept your public assistance benefits.
