Macy's Housekeeping Part Time Job Position in Parkchester, Bronx, NY

Overview:
Primary responsibility for the Macy's Parkchester Housekeeper job position is to make sure that the store is cleaned everyday for our Customers. Other functions that this position will include but are not limited too; distribution of merchandise bags and boxes and performing carry outs of purchase for Customers.

Key Accountabilities:
The activities that go behind the scenes to support our selling floor are wide range. Your responsibilities will be wide range as well:
Cleaning and maintaining fitting rooms

Picking up trash from registers, restrooms, offices, common areas

Cleaning and re-stocking restrooms

Dusting the sales floor (both high and low)

Maintaining the carpets and tile floors of our store


Skills Summary:
When working in a support area certain skills are critical. Some of the qualities you should possess to be a successful Housekeeper is: being organized, detail oriented, ability to work independently or as part of a team, basic communication skills, positive attitude, a self-motivator. Must also be able to use following equipment; ladder, vacuum, broom/mop, high-speed buffer, pushcart, hand truck.

The job functions of a Housekeeper Associate are wide ranging, but so are the promotional opportunities. Whether your future goals are to be a Housekeeper Supervisor or part of the Support team, you will have the opportunity to grow as far as your talent will take you.
