The Parkchester Scholarship Program is open to all June 2014 High School Graduates who are residents of Parkchester and have been accepted to an institution of higher education in the United States beginning in September 2014.

FOR THE 2014-2015 ACADEMIC YEAR PARKCHESTER WILL AWARD TWO SCHOLARSHIPS
($750 EACH SEMESTER FOR A TOTAL VALUE OF $6,000)

REQUIREMENTS:
1. A verified resident of Parkchester for a minimum of two years. Scholarship is contingent upon recipient's remaining a Parkchester resident during his/her college years.

2. A high school senior accepted to a four-year accredited college or university in the United States. (Scholarship is good only in U.S.).

3. A United States citizen or have a Permanent Resident Visa.

4. Demonstrated high academic achievement.

5. Satisfactory SAT scores of 1000 or more.

6. Evidence of leadership potential.

ANY RESIDENT INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP MUST APPLY BY JUNE 2, 2014.
