When it comes to a gas leak unfortunately, your being notified is nothing more than procedure. Whether they reach you or not, the're going in. Your new door suggests you had a top lock with no key on file at the office. The old door was proberbly breached by the fire department who is called in these cases. I'm not entirely sure just how they do it but it proberbly renders the door inoperable. The holes in your wall suggest a leak from behind the wall. They'll proberbly fix the leak, the floor and the wall no charge but they'll take their time. They'll also wanna stick you with a charge for the door though because of your lock situation. That's a cool $800-$1,000 (sorry). You'll see that bill in 6 weeks. I'm glad you didn't lose your stuff as these things can be very dangerous.

Take care.

Service did not inform me that there may be a gas leak in my apartment. I was called this afternoon there may be a gas leak on my floor. I came home tonight now I have a new door, my home was entered there are wholes in my living room and my kitchen floor is messed up. How long will it take for this issue to be resolved? I ask because it is obvious that your service people are terrible!! I will call tomorrow I expect this issue to be resolved immediately!!
