7 people wanted in Parkchester deli assault

The NYPD is searching for 7 people wanted in connection to an assault at a deli in the Parkchester section of the Bronx.

On Sunday, 3/1/15, just after 4 a.m., 3 men in their twenties were inside the 1253 Deli on 1253 Castle Hill Avenue in the Unionport section of Parkchester, Bronx. After a heated verbal dispute, with a second group of people, the suspects began assaulting them and throwing food items.

One of the victims was held by one of the suspects as two others hit him from behind - then another suspect walked up with another punch. One of the women involved in the fight then picked up a metal rack of food and used that to hit one of the victims. The brawl then spilled outside, with two of the suspects repeatedly punching and kicking one of the victims.

One of the victims was stabbed in the right torso, and sustained eye and head injuries. Another victim sustained multiple facial fractures. The third victim sustained a stab wound to his torso, and brusing to his head and stomach. Cash and cell phones were also stolen from the men.

The three victims were transported to the hospital. One has been treated and released, and 2 remain in stable condition.

Two of the suspects are described as Hispanic females, and 5 suspects are described as black and Hispanic males.
