Has anyone looked into this heavily? I think Cablevision's prices are outrageous and would enjoy at least hearing how well the alternative worked. I used to have Dish Network in brooklyn but never DirectTV -- any news?

I just came back to the site for the first time in a couple of weeks. I notice a  text link at the top of the homepage showing:

"DIRECTV service is now available in Parkchester North and South.  ORDER TODAY!"


I would like to know if this is true or is it some sort of mistake. I would have thought with a huge announcement like this, tenants would have gotten a notice.

I don't like the way this forum is now setup as I wouldn't have posted the thread if I saw this topic already existed.

What are the details of this service as it seems someone asked PN & they said it wasn't allowed.

I think it is bs that it isn't allowed. I've always wondered why the North & South treat these buildings as co-ops yet advertise themselves as condos.
